PRESCHOOL WHEEZERS – When to suspect asthma in your child?

Childhood Asthma is on the rise in the city and the beginning of this condition is reported as early as in infancy. Children with repeated cough and repeated viral infections (more than 3episodes in a year) are often treated with inhaled medicines and nebulisations or over-the-counter cough syrups. Timely identification and treatment of these children who are prone to develop asthma can prevent lung damage significantly, especially at this growing age when lungs are developing at an enormous pace.

In this video, I have tried to point out when to think your child has something more than just a viral infection and when to report to a child pulmonologist for a formal assessment.
